About
This first online exhibition for the photography students at Queen Elizabeth High School documents an extraordinary year in the lives of our students and our art department. As the pandemic tightened and restricted, the photographers increasingly looked to the landscape for inspiration. The exhibition curated by James Franklin shows how they have captured the beauty of rural spaces, the contrast with the city landscape and photographic work that connects nature with the internal space of our minds. We have all spent too long locked in our places, constrained in mind and body, perhaps the only solace is the incredible landscape in which we live, brought vividly to life by this exhibition of photography.
The work here has been created by QEHS A-level Photography students, as part of their Projects this year. Work has been created using mobile phone cameras, Digital SLR cameras and in our darkroom from developed film.
